TRASH TO TREASURE LAB

CAMP #2: August 24–28
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

One person's trash is another artist's masterpiece!

Campers will discover the creative potential hidden in everyday and discarded materials as they transform recycled objects into imaginative works of art. Through sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, collaborative installations, and hands-on building challenges, they'll learn how creativity, curiosity, and sustainability can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Throughout the week, campers will experiment with assembling, painting, constructing, and reimagining found objects while exploring the principles of upcycling, design thinking, and creative problem-solving. Every project encourages campers to see materials—and the world around them—in a completely new way.

The week concludes with an interactive gallery exhibition, where families can explore immersive installations and celebrate the incredible creations built throughout the week.

Make it. Remix it. Reimagine it.

Camper Support & Accessibility

Urban Art Collective Summer Camps are designed around collaborative projects, hands-on creative activities, and small-group instruction.

While we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, our camps are not staffed to provide continuous one-to-one support or personal care throughout the camp day.

If your child benefits from ongoing individual support or has support needs that may require accommodations beyond what our camp staffing can provide, we encourage you to contact us before registering. We're happy to discuss your child's needs and help determine whether this camp is the right fit.
