CAMP #2: August 17–21
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Lights, camera... create!
Campers will dive into the world of digital storytelling as they explore stop motion animation, short-form video, photography, digital design, and creative content production. They'll learn how to turn ideas into engaging videos by planning, filming, editing, and sharing stories through a variety of fun, hands-on projects.
Throughout the week, campers will experiment with storyboarding, camera techniques, lighting, sound, editing, and visual effects while building confidence both behind and in front of the camera. Whether they're creating a stop-motion animation, designing graphics, or producing a short video, every project encourages creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
The week concludes with a gallery exhibition, where campers showcase their favourite projects and celebrate everything they've created with family and friends.
Please Note
Campers are required to bring their own smartphone capable of taking photos and recording video. A smartphone that can download free apps is preferred, as many projects will be filmed and edited directly on the device.
For younger campers or selected activities, projects may be completed collaboratively using shared equipment under instructor supervision.
All devices will be used responsibly as part of structured educational activities throughout the week.

Camper Support & Accessibility
Urban Art Collective Summer Camps are designed around collaborative projects, hands-on creative activities, and small-group instruction.
While we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, our camps are not staffed to provide continuous one-to-one support or personal care throughout the camp day.
If your child benefits from ongoing individual support or has support needs that may require accommodations beyond what our camp staffing can provide, we encourage you to contact us before registering. We're happy to discuss your child's needs and help determine whether this camp is the right fit.
