CAMP #2: August 10–14
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
See your city through a new lens!
Campers will explore the neighbourhood while learning the fundamentals of photography and visual storytelling. Through creative photo walks, street photography, portraits, light and shadow, photo challenges, cyanotypes, and DIY zine-making, they'll discover how to capture compelling stories with a camera.
Throughout the week, campers will experiment with composition, perspective, colour, and creative techniques while building confidence behind the camera and developing their own unique photographic style.
The week concludes with a gallery exhibition, where each photographer prints, displays, and shares their favourite images with family and friends.
Please Note
Campers are required to bring their own camera or smartphone capable of taking photos. A smartphone that can download free apps is preferred. All devices will be used under instructor supervision as part of structured creative projects.

Camper Support & Accessibility
Urban Art Collective Summer Camps are designed around collaborative projects, hands-on creative activities, and small-group instruction.
While we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, our camps are not staffed to provide continuous one-to-one support or personal care throughout the camp day.
If your child benefits from ongoing individual support or has support needs that may require accommodations beyond what our camp staffing can provide, we encourage you to contact us before registering. We're happy to discuss your child's needs and help determine whether this camp is the right fit.
